                 Preventive Medicine
Women’s Health Associates encourages you to practice preventive medicine. Every women needs an annual pelvic examination. Pap smears with HPV testing, annual mammograms, and  regular bone density testing play key roles in keeping you healthy. Pelvic ultrasounds are performed during problem pelvic examinations. A yearly checkup also gives you an opportunity to discuss other concerns you may have with your physician. The time to talk about high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, hormonal changes, contraceptive management, sexually transmitted disease protection is now….not when these problems begin to affect your health.


               Pregnancy Requires a Commitment

If you are pregnant, it is important to see you physician every one to four weeks. Practicing prenatal care gives your unborn child the best chance for a healthy beginning. Your physician will help set up regular visits.

Our physicians are specialists in menopausal syndrome and can help you cross over to this new phase of your life.
