Breastfeeding Services

Most first time couples feel breastfeeding will be easy and natural. But the first few weeks can present challenges to new parents. "How do I know if my baby is getting enough to eat?", "How do I treat engorgement?", "Why does my baby want to nurse so frequently?" These are just a few of the questions that can arise after you go home from the hospital.

Breastfeeding appointments and support are available on request with our board certified lactation consultant, Christine Hoey. This service is available to all our parents that experience problems with nursing after delivery. Appointments are usually covered by insurance (but may involve a co-pay).
