Steven A. Rabin,
MD, FACOG is the newest member of Women’s Health Associates. He is Board-Certified and limits
his practice to gynecology only. Dr. Rabin has a passion for learning, teaching and
helping. His focus is on treating women that are interested in their overall wellness and vitality, especially as they
move through the midlife transition and all the changes that accompany it. Dr. Rabin’s areas of expertise include
birth control options including the scar-free tubal procedure, Essure. Other areas include hormone imbalance,
bioidentical hormones, thyroid function, and female sexual dysfunction. The quest for a dynamically healthy life through proactive
well-woman care, diet, excellent gynecological care, appropriate nutritional supplements, and hormone balance is the foundation
of his practice.
Dr.
Rabin offers an alternative to some hysterectomies- endometrial ablation. This can often be safely performed

Liberal use of ultrasound to enhance the gynecological exam helps identify abnormal anatomy including
cysts, fluid collections, thickened endometrial linings, endometrial polyps and swollen fallopian tubes. All
of these conditions can be seen with Transvaginal ultrasound which is performed easily and comfortably by Dr. Rabin.
Dr. Rabin earned his Medical Degree
from the Chicago Medical School, University of Health Sciences. He completed his residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical
Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Board Member and officer of
the Atlanta OB/GYN Society. He is a Member of the Georgia State Medical Society, The Medical Association of Georgia
(MAG) and the American Medical Association. Dr. Rabin is on staff at Northside Hospital.
Dr. Rabin is the former senior partner of MyOBGYN,
PC, and was the Medical Director of Advanced Gynecology Solutions, LLC. He is a frequent presenter, and
gives lectures almost every month. He also mentors and teaches other physicians some of the procedures
mentioned here. Dr. Rabin has appeared in television news segments, including CNN Headline News. He is a dynamic
public speaker for audiences or groups of all sizes.
Dr. Rabin enjoys spending time with his wife and children, photography, and music.
