REVIEW USSandra is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with more than three decades of nursing experience, including 28 years dedicated to the women’s health arena. She began her career as a labor and delivery nurse before advancing into her long-standing role as a WHNP, where she has built a reputation for compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
Sandra was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. She earned her Diploma in Nursing from The Grace General Hospital in St. John’s, Newfoundland, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Her career has taken her from Maryland—where she practiced with Capital Women’s Care in Frederick, MD—to her current community following a recent relocation.
Throughout her career, Sandra has remained committed to providing individualized care and partnering with her patients through shared decision-making. She is passionate about caring for women across every stage of life, from puberty through the post-menopausal years, and values the relationships she builds with her patients and their families.
Outside of work, Sandra enjoys running, spending time with her husband and their college-age children, and proudly holds the title of a “retired swim mom.”
